Trusted Sharing
All WARPs deliver 3 core services:
Advice Brokering
Why struggle to find a solution when someone else may have already solved the problem? WARP members have access to a wealth of information, both from within the group itself, in peer WARPs and by making use of external expertise.
Filtered Warnings
The Filtered Warnings Service allows WARP subscribers to receive timely warnings of Information Security threats. Information is collected from several sources and then categoried. Subscribers can choose to only receive certain categories of alerts, leaving you to focus on the relevant threats and vulnerabilities.
Trusted Sharing
The experiences of others are invaluable. Much of peoples experience and knowledge goes to waste because it is often seen as too sensitive to share. WARPs encourage members to share difficulties, successes and incidents in a trusted environment.
Training and Lobbying
The NLAWARP is well connected with policy makers in central government. We lobby on behalf of our members and bring the latest policy advice and guidance to WARP meetings. We hold regular events, the flagship of which is our Annual Conference in London. In this event we bring key policy makers together to keep you informed as to where IT and Information Security is heading in the future and to let you challenge and question the presenters.
